Renko Charts
Renko charts ignore time entirely and plot only price movement using fixed-size bricks. A new brick is only drawn when price moves by a pre-defined amount, completely filtering minor fluctuations.
Heikin-Ashi Charts
Heikin-Ashi uses modified OHLC values calculated from averages of the current and prior candle to smooth price action and make trends visually distinct.
Point & Figure Charts
P&F charts record only significant price moves using columns of Xs (rising prices) and Os (falling prices). Time is completely ignored — a column only changes when the reversal amount is reached.
Kagi Charts
Kagi charts use a series of vertical lines to track price direction. The line reverses direction only when price moves by a predefined reversal amount. The critical feature is line thickness: it changes when price breaks a prior high or low.
Three Line Break Charts
Three Line Break charts draw new lines only when price closes above the highest high of the prior three lines (bullish) or below the lowest low of the prior three lines (bearish). They blend features of Renko and Kagi charts.
