Every number a trader acts on comes from a calculation, and most of those calculations are done badly or not at all. Position size gets guessed from the margin the broker allows instead of from the risk the account can absorb. Leverage gets read off the brochure instead of divided out of the real exposure. A drawdown gets called bad luck when the arithmetic said it was the expected outcome of the bet size. This site is a set of tools for doing those calculations properly, plus the education that explains why each one matters.
The tools cover three families. Risk and sizing — position size, lot size, leverage, margin, futures contracts, Monte Carlo and risk of ruin. Price and targets — Fibonacci levels, chart pattern projections, take-profit by risk/reward ratio, average entry price. And a full options desk: Black-Scholes pricing, the Greeks including vanna and charm, payoff diagrams and 66 catalogued strategies.
Where the numbers come from
Three rules govern every figure this site shows, and they are enforced by tests rather than by good intentions. Anything that cannot be calculated is shown empty, never as zero — an R multiple with no stop is undefined, and carrying it as zero drags the average and falsifies the distribution. Any options chain built from a model rather than observed from a market is labelled as synthetic, with its volume and open interest left blank, because those are observations and a model does not produce them. And anything order-sensitive — equity curve, drawdown, streaks — is sorted chronologically before it is computed, because drawdown is not symmetric under reversal.
The same discipline applies to the written content. The worked examples on each calculator page are recalculated by a script on every build, so a figure edited by hand fails the build instead of quietly going stale. The Monte Carlo figures state their parameters — how many sequences, how many trades, what ruin threshold — so anyone can reproduce them.
The options desk
Options are where this site does something the forex-calculator sites do not do at all. The desk prices European and American contracts, returns the full Greek set — delta, gamma, theta, vega, rho, and also vanna and charm, which most retail tools omit — and draws the payoff and profit-and-loss surface of any combination of legs. The strategy catalogue runs to 66 named structures, each with its construction, its break-evens and the market view it expresses.
Gamma exposure is computed across the chain so you can see where dealer positioning concentrates, which is the mechanism behind a lot of the pinning that looks inexplicable on a price chart alone. Where a chain has to be modelled rather than observed, it is labelled synthetic and its volume and open interest come back empty, because those two are observations and no model produces them.
Who it is for
For traders who already have a method and want the sizing, the risk and the record-keeping to stop being the weak part. Not for anyone looking for signals: there are none here, and there will not be. The tools tell you what a position costs, what it risks and what the distribution of outcomes looks like. What to trade is your decision, and any site that offers to make it for you is selling something else.
The education section is built the same way. Each module names the specific mistake it corrects, every figure comes from a formula you can reproduce in the simulator, and the quiz answers rotate position so the test measures understanding rather than the habit of clicking the first button.
